Signal Delivery Network

Public network / coordinated execution

Signal

Built by operators

The work taught us what delivery should be.

Signal brings together people who understand customer requests, dispatch, driver relationships and the technology behind them. We are building the delivery network we wanted beside us on the operating floor.

Talk to Signal

The real work begins after the request

One request creates practical questions.

A customer says what needs to move. The next questions are practical: Is the material ready? What vehicle and handling fit? Who can receive it? What changes if the destination is different from the plan? Who owns the next call?

The team behind Signal has worked across the operating realities of business delivery, from customer conversations and dispatch decisions to driver relationships and the systems that support them. That perspective shapes the company: technology should make the work clearer, and people should remain accountable for carrying it through.

Signal exists to connect those parts rather than asking the customer to manage each handoff separately.

One leadership team

Three connected perspectives.

Customer understanding, technology and field execution need to inform one another. Signal’s leadership structure brings those perspectives into the same conversation instead of treating them as disconnected departments.

The purpose is practical: build a company that understands the delivery promise, the operating plan required to support it and the people responsible for the result.

01 / Commercial + strategy

JJ Cramer

Co-Founder & CEO

JJ Cramer brings a commercial and strategic perspective to Signal shaped by a career spent connecting technology, customer needs, and new business opportunities. His experience spans sales, go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, emerging technology, and executive leadership, with a consistent focus on understanding what customers are trying to accomplish and building practical ways to serve them.

Before co-founding Signal, JJ worked across technology businesses focused on customer experience, communications, automation, and artificial intelligence. His work put him close to enterprise customers and the challenges they were trying to solve, from improving communication and automating repetitive work to evaluating emerging technologies and developing new approaches to customer engagement. Along the way, he built a reputation for identifying opportunities, understanding market dynamics, and translating customer needs into commercial strategy.

JJ later brought that perspective directly into last-mile delivery, ultimately leading a delivery company as CEO. Working closely with customers and operating teams reinforced a principle that now shapes Signal: delivery cannot be separated from the customer's operation. Reliability, visibility, communication, and execution all affect what happens before and after the delivery itself.

At Signal, JJ leads company direction and commercial strategy, connecting customer needs with the network, technology, partnerships, and operating model required to serve them. His focus is on identifying where Signal can create meaningful operational value, building lasting customer relationships, and ensuring that growth begins with a clear understanding of the work.

02 / Dispatch + delivery operations

Jonathan “JC” Calderon

Founding Executive & VP of Dispatch/Delivery Operations

Jonathan “JC” Calderon brings the frontline operating perspective to Signal. His background is rooted in operations, where plans meet people, changing conditions, customer expectations, and the realities of getting work completed. He approaches operational complexity as something to understand and improve, with an emphasis on communication, discipline, practical problem solving, and consistent execution.

Before helping build Signal, JC worked across operations and developed a particular focus on using information, process, and communication to make teams more effective. That experience shaped an operating style centered on understanding what is actually happening in the field, identifying where a process is breaking down, and giving people clearer expectations and better support to carry the work through.

His experience later expanded directly into last-mile delivery, where he worked closely with driver communities, delivery capacity, and new-market launches. Helping expand a delivery network put him at the intersection of people, vehicles, market readiness, service requirements, and day-to-day execution. It also reinforced how much successful delivery depends on the relationship between the people coordinating the work and the people performing it.

At Signal, JC leads dispatch and delivery operations, helping turn customer requirements into coordinated execution. His focus is on preparing the right delivery team, maintaining communication as conditions change, supporting Delivery Professionals in the field, resolving exceptions, and ensuring that every assignment moves toward a clear, accountable, and documented handoff.

03 / Operations + technology

Mike Wilson

Co-Founder, COO & CPO

Mike Wilson brings an unusually broad view of delivery operations to Signal, shaped by experience across operations, technology, commercial strategy, customer experience, and company leadership.

Before co-founding Signal, Mike helped lead a last-mile delivery company through multiple stages of growth and change, serving in senior sales and marketing leadership, as Chief Operating Officer, and for a period as interim CEO. His work put him close to nearly every part of the delivery operation, from winning and launching customer programs to dispatch, pricing, driver capacity, service design, performance management, and the systems used to hold it all together.

That experience helped shape a core belief behind Signal: better delivery does not come from simply finding an available driver. It comes from understanding the work, assembling the right people and capabilities around it, and giving operators the information and tools they need to execute well.

At Signal, Mike leads operations and technology, translating years of hands-on delivery experience into the systems behind the network. His focus is on building an operating platform that reflects how delivery actually works, connecting customer requirements, market context, capacity, pricing, dispatch, execution, communication, and proof in one coordinated system.

Delivery professionals

Built with the people doing the work.

Meet the delivery network →

Capacity is not an anonymous asset on a screen. It includes the people who understand a pickup counter, a receiving gate, a customer doorway and the conditions that can change a handoff.

Signal’s network approach makes room for different vehicle classes and operating contributors while keeping the customer’s work connected. Clear instructions, practical communication and appropriate proof support the professionals doing the delivery and the customer relying on it.

We want the quality of the operation to be visible in the way the work is handled, not only in the way the website describes it.

REQUESTCONTEXTHUMAN REVIEWRECORD

Technology shaped by the work

Structure the information. Keep judgment in the path.

A useful platform does more than display a status. It keeps the request, locations, material, receiving instructions and evidence in context. That makes it easier for customers to follow progress and for operations to review a condition that needs attention.

Technology is strongest when it supports judgment. Some decisions require a person to understand what changed, communicate with the right people and own the next action. Signal is designed around that relationship between structured information and accountable human work.

Operating principles

The principles we build into the operation.

Clarity starts with the real requirement. Flexibility means choosing a response that fits the material, timing and receiving conditions. Accountability means keeping progress, issues and completion attached to a responsible operating path.

These principles are not a claim that every job is simple or every service is available everywhere. They are how Signal approaches the work: understand it, review the fit, communicate the plan and retain a useful record of the result.

01

Clarity

Start with what the job actually needs.

02

Flexibility

Match the delivery response to the work.

03

Accountability

Keep the handoff and next action connected.

Bring us the work

Bring us the work that needs a better path.

From an urgent request to a recurring program, the conversation starts with your operation. Tell Signal what needs to move and what the handoff must accomplish.
