01
Introduction
Signal Delivery Network ("Signal," "we," "us," or "our") provides business delivery technology and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled across our public websites, customer and operations portals, applications, delivery technology, support channels, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This policy applies when you visit or use the Services, communicate with Signal, participate in a delivery, or provide information to us through an organization or authorized integration. An organization may also have its own policies and responsibilities for information it provides to Signal.
02
Information we collect
The information involved depends on how you interact with Signal and the delivery work being requested or performed.
Account and identity information
This may include your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, authentication or account identifiers, and role or permission information.
Delivery and operational information
This may include pickup and delivery locations, contacts, timing, instructions, material or item details, handling and equipment requirements, route or stop information, assignment and progress information, delivery-related communications, exceptions, and proof of delivery.
Company and billing information
This may include company information, billing contacts, invoicing details, purchase or reference numbers, transaction status, and records needed to administer a customer relationship. When payment functionality is used, payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by a payment provider; Signal may receive limited transaction and payment-status information rather than full card details.
Content you provide
This may include documents, invoices, PDFs, photographs, signatures, delivery evidence, instructions, support messages, form entries, and information supplied through an authorized integration.
Device, usage, and technical information
Our website, applications, hosting, authentication, and security infrastructure may generate technical information such as IP address, browser or device characteristics, login and security events, application activity, and diagnostic or error information. The specific information depends on the service and infrastructure in use.
Location information
Delivery location data includes pickup, destination, stop, access, and receiving locations needed to coordinate delivery work. Device location data is different. If a driver-side or other application uses device location for an active delivery feature, the application should request the relevant permission and the applicable product notice should explain that use. This policy does not assume that every Signal application collects precise device location.
03
How we collect information
We may receive information directly from you; from your employer, customer, or another organization; through delivery activity; from delivery professionals or providers participating in a request; through integrations authorized by a customer; and automatically through the operation, security, or diagnostics of the Services where applicable.
04
How we use information
We use information to provide and administer the Services, including to:
- Create and manage accounts, organizations, roles, and access.
- Prepare, review, quote where applicable, and coordinate delivery requests.
- Match delivery requirements with appropriate capacity and communicate execution context.
- Share status, manage changes or exceptions, and document completion.
- Provide customer support and respond to questions.
- Support billing, invoicing, recordkeeping, and customer administration.
- Protect accounts and Services, investigate misuse or fraud, and maintain reliability.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce applicable agreements.
06
Service providers and integrations
Signal may use service providers for infrastructure, hosting, authentication, communications, payment processing, billing, mapping, operational tools, analytics or diagnostics, security, and support. We may also exchange information with systems a customer authorizes Signal to connect to. Those providers and integrations process information according to their roles, contracts, and applicable policies.
Specific provider names are not listed here until their active role and public disclosure have been confirmed. Customer-directed integrations may be governed by additional terms or notices.
07
Data security
Signal uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in light of the nature of the information and the Services. No system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their credentials and notify Signal if they believe an account or delivery record has been accessed improperly.
08
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the account or service relationship, delivery operations and documentation, transaction and business records, security and fraud prevention, dispute handling, contractual requirements, and legal obligations. Different information may require different retention periods.
When information is no longer needed for an applicable purpose, Signal may delete, de-identify, or otherwise handle it in accordance with approved practices and legal obligations.
09
Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your Signal account and associated personal information. Signal may need to verify your identity and relationship to the account before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate legal, security, transaction, fraud-prevention, dispute, documentation, or similar purposes.
Deletion is different from temporarily deactivating access. Signal's current web-based request pathway is available at Delete Your Signal Account. Account deletion is not represented as automatic.
