Signal

Appliance delivery

The appliance is only part of the delivery.

A successful appliance handoff starts with the item, the receiving path and the tasks that have been agreed. Signal connects those details before the move.

Item profile

Start with the appliance and its handling profile.

Identify the appliance type, quantity, dimensions and approximate weight where known. Include packaging condition, pickup release instructions and any manufacturer handling information relevant to moving it.

A refrigerator, range or washer may present different access and handling questions, but the product name alone does not determine the plan. Signal reviews the actual item and route requirements before confirming the appropriate delivery response.

HANDLING

Instructions

Include relevant manufacturer direction.

PICKUP READY → ACCESS PATH → RECEIVING READY

Dock, curbside, threshold or requested inside location.

Receiving path

Make the receiving path part of the request.

Tell Signal whether the handoff is at a dock, curbside, threshold or requested inside location. Provide stairs, elevator, doorway and clearance details that could affect receiving. Share a contact who can resolve access questions.

Scheduling also needs both ends of the job: when the appliance can be released and when the destination can receive it. A requested window is reviewed with the full job rather than treated as an automatic service promise.

Task boundary

Separate delivery from connection or removal.

Bringing an appliance to a destination is different from installing or connecting it. Gas, electrical and plumbing work, disconnection, testing, old-unit removal and packaging disposal are not assumed to be included.

Specify any requested additional task. Signal can review the requirement and confirm the agreed scope; the website does not promise every task or service combination in every market.

SEPARATE REVIEW

Installation · connection · disconnection · testing · removal · disposal

ITEM → RECEIVING POINT → RECORD

Condition and proof requirements stay with the request.

Clear closeout

Give the receiving team a clear closeout.

Proof should connect the delivered item with the agreed handoff. Receiving notes, photographs or a signature may help document the result according to the request and service arrangement.

When access, item condition or the requested tasks do not match the plan, the situation needs review and communication. Keeping those details with the request makes follow-through more useful than a detached arrival message.

Appliance questions

Bring the item and receiving details together.

Can an appliance be delivered inside?

Request the receiving point you need and describe the access path. Inside handling, stairs and placement are reviewed before they are confirmed.

Is old-appliance removal included?

No removal service is assumed. Identify the old item and removal requirement so that task can be discussed separately.

What if I do not know the dimensions?

Use the best available description and identify unknown dimensions or weight. The request can be prepared, but handling and capacity may need clarification before confirmation.

Prepare the request

Prepare an appliance delivery request.

Bring the appliance details, pickup and delivery addresses, timing, access and desired placement. Include any extra tasks for separate review.
